Silent Seer: Now Available on Amazon and Goodreads
After two years of writing, reflection, and quiet discipline, my book Silent Seer is finally ready to meet the world.
This journey began not as a publishing goal, but as a personal search. I have always turned to the Bhagavad Gita in moments of uncertainty, not just as a scripture, but as a companion. Over time, I began selecting verses that directly addressed my experiences, questions, and challenges.
The result is Silent Seer, a practical, question-and-answer guide to the timeless wisdom of the Gita. Instead of dense commentary, the book presents the verses in a conversational style, much like Arjuna’s dialogue with Krishna. Each answer reflects both the original meaning of the verse and my own journey of applying it in everyday life.
Why “Silent Seer”?
The name captures the essence of the Gita’s teaching. It is the ability to act in the world while remaining calm within. To see without being swept away, to act without attachment. The silent seer is not detached from life, but fully present in it.
The Writing Journey
Two years may sound long, but every day of it was worth it. Some passages came easily; others took weeks of rethinking. There were moments of doubt, but the Gita’s own words, “Do your duty without attachment to results”, kept me going.
It may have taken two years to type in the first word and put the last full stop. But the journey spans more than two decades, from picking up the first copy of the Bhagavad Gita for serious study to writing my book. Multiple writings of the Gita by various masters are still present on my bookshelf to guide me in the coming days.
